Description
A traditional Persian style rug on a soft ivory ground, worked in rust, navy and a little black. Four navy medallions sit in the centre, surrounded by vines, small flowers and urn shapes scattered across the field. A wide ivory border repeats a vase and leaf pattern, with narrow geometric stripes on the inside and an arrowhead band at each end.
The cream fringe finishes both ends. Because the base is light and the reds are muted, it sits comfortably in a living room, bedroom or hallway without taking over. It goes well with wood furniture, grey or beige sofas, and darker floors.
